Privacy Policy
Effective October 20, 2026
We collect as little as we can, use it only to run the site and deliver what you ask for, and never sell it.
What we collect and why
- Domains you check with ReadyCheck. We use the domain to run the checks and show your results. We don't build a database of checked domains; a domain may briefly appear in server error logs if a check fails.
- Your IP address. Used temporarily to limit how many checks one connection can run, and recorded in our hosting provider's standard access logs.
- Early-access email sign-ups. If you join the list, we store your email address (and the domain you checked, if any) with our hosting provider so we can tell you when new products launch. You can ask to be removed at any time, and every launch email will include a way to opt out.
- Contact form messages. Your name, email, and message are stored by our hosting provider so we can reply.
- Purchases. Payments are processed by Gumroad. We receive your name, email, and order details to deliver the product and provide support. We never see your full card details.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information.
- We don't use advertising trackers, and our site doesn't set its own cookies.
- We don't use your ReadyCheck results to contact your business unless you ask us to.
Service providers
We rely on a few providers to run the business: Netlify (website hosting, contact form and early-access list), Gumroad (payments and product delivery), and Google (business email). They process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
Contact messages and order records are kept as long as needed to support you and meet tax and accounting requirements. Early-access emails are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, using the contact form. We'll respond within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above.
